okay so lm going to watch college football this season and l need a few questions answered so l wont look like a complete idiot. Please answer and thank you. 1)what are pre/seasonal rankings? are they updated each week ? and how do they differ from BCS Standings? 2) what are the major conferences ? which conferences have championship Conference games? how are the teams selected to play in these Conference games ? 3) what are the major bowls ? l know that only a pac-10 team and big 10 team play in the rose bowl. how about the other bowls ?
