Open Question: NCAA 08 football conference invite?

I have NCAA 08 for xbox 360. In my dynasty I am playing as Kansas in the Big 12 conference and in the 7th season. Can I get an invite to another BCS conference? I have created prospects, won 6 Fiesta Bowls, and 1 National Championship. I typically play on Heisman difficulty, and have never changed any of the sliders.
